what our clients say

Ryley Richardson

Ryley’s passion for storytelling began by documenting memories on his phone. Fascinated by archiving life’s moments for reflection, he soon discovered the art of editing and crafting visually compelling stories.

Community, relationships, and creativity are Ryley’s greatest drivers, which inspired his transition from a career in commercial real estate, to full time video production and photo storytelling. Over the past 10 years, Ryley has worked with a diverse range of clients across Canada, including Treaty 6 & 8 Nations, non-profits, the Government of Alberta, and various corporate organizations. He’s dedicated to treating each client and their story with respect, integrity, and authenticity.

When he’s not behind the camera, Ryley enjoys traveling the world, spending time with family, and practicing Tagalog.

Ryley’s dream: to produce a Netflix documentary.

OLIVIA RICHARDSON

Olivia is a strong believer in the power of a well told story and has built a strong foundation for crafting compelling narratives. She merges her approach to marketing and communications with analytical thinking and creative execution, ensuring the development of authentic and impactful messaging. Over the last eight years, Olivia has worked with clients in the engineering, financial services, and real estate industry and brings extensive experience in brand management, content strategy, and monitoring integrated campaigns across multiple marketing channels. Her energetic and enthusiastic outlook is inspired by knowing that we’re here for a short time, so spend it doing what you’re most passionate about.

Her truest source of motivation stems from listening to learn, building meaningful relationships with those around her, and staying curious to foster genuine understanding. When Olivia’s not at work, she’s most likely planning her next adventure, trying a new dish, or spending time with her loved ones.

Olivia’s dream: to make a positive and tangible impact in her community.

Raymond MANGLO

Raymond studied film in Manila, Philippines, and moved to Edmonton in 2021 to pursue his videography career. Inspired by cinematographer Christopher Doyle, Raymond pushes creative boundaries in every project he is a part of.

To date, one of the most impactful projects Raymond was part of was a documentary series for Positive Youth Development Philippines called “Project Combi”. The series highlighted a youth leader’s initiative to combat plastic pollution by creating “eco bricks” from recycled bottles. Raymond has over 10 years of experience in both cinematography and post-production storytelling. With a keen eye for weaving moments together to create compelling stories, he is also known for his reliability, creativity, and ability to infuse humour into almost any situation.

In Raymond’s spare time, he enjoys playing video games and spending time with his fiancée and cat, Smokey.

Raymond’s dream: to work on a movie set as Director of Photography.

HENRY MARKEN

An engineer by trade and a photographer at heart, Henry’s passion lies in documenting moments that evoke emotion. He transitioned to a full-time photography career after freelancing for family, friends, and coworkers.

Henry loves the creative freedom of photography and videography. He specializes in candid portraits, excels at color grading, and brings an “anything is possible” attitude to every project. His recent work photographing the Sturgeon Landing Residential School Survivors has been particularly impactful.

Outside of Richardson Media, Henry enjoys automotive and sports photography, long walks, and hiking. He’s honing his videography skills through personal projects and collaborations with Richardson Media.

Henry’s dream: to work on a media project for Formula 1.
